Be sure to check the website that you are on organization policy's and rules. All websites have rules, and it's always a good idea to read them over so you don't cause trouble for others who want to enjoy their online time, or disrubt the organization, (As they may have better things to do other than deal with jerks who don't follow the rules.)

Think about a message's content before you send it out. Sometimes, when you are angry at someone, you may tend to type something innapropiate. This will cause more drama. Remember: The internet is not a private place. Anyone can find your information if they try hard enough.

Be polite. Some people can misunderstand what you type to them. If that's the case, reply calmly telling them what it is exactly. Also, be patient. Some people, like newbies to the online world, don't exactly know everything there is to know, and it might take them a few trys to understand something.

Be sure to include a brief signature line after you're done typing a message, and before you send it out. This rule is very important if you're running an organization that involves more than one member sharing the same account, or something similar.

Understand that there are people in the online world who do not come from America. The way they type and spell things may be a little different or strange. If you don't understand what a foriegn person has typed you, ask them calmly and politly what they mean.

Do not type in CAPITALS as this is considered to be SHOUTING. This is a very rude thing to do, as people usually only shout when they are angry or offended by someone. Type calmly and hope they understand your feelings. DON'T SIT THERE AND YELL AT THEM REPEATEDLY LIKE THIS!

Don't use over-puncuation such as an exclamation mark. These marks are meant as emphasis. Please know that just using one puncuation mark is enough to let the reader know what you are feeling.

Do not send mutiple postings to people. A fantastic example would be those stupid "Chain Letters". These are very dangerous, and make those that use them look ignorant. Spamming can, and will, get you into trouble with the websites organization and mabye even the ISP or IT.

Do not sit there and criticize people's spelling. It is very petty. Many people don't have a spell check to run through thier messages (Such as DA) and have no way to correct it. And some nationalities spell things differently from your culture, like Old English people. (Examples include: Humour instead of Humor, and Organisation instead of Orginization.)

Do not conduct arguements in public. If some jerk Flames you in any way, just simply ignore that person and hide the message (If the site allows you to) so that others who are passing by won't get involved with the flamer.

Do not flame people by sending abusive messages. This is very rude and ignorant. Just because you don't feel happy with something about yourself or something you did, does not mean you have to offend others to make yourself feel better. This is one of the most pathetic things you could ever do in the online world, and even in real life. (Golden rule: Treat others with respect, and they shall do the same to you.)

Do not make personal remarks about third parties. If you see two people having an arguement online, just ignore it and be on with your business. I, personally, have made this mistake several times, and if you have been there, you should know that I didn't help anything, but in fact made things worse than they were supposed to be.

Do not talk about sexual content or anything of that nature online, as passing online members might, and probably will, find it and take offence to it. If you want to tell somebody something like that, do it in the most private online area you can think of. (Such as notes in DA. Sure, the DA creators can read them, but the whole world cannot inless they decide to post it in public... but I'm sure DA is nice enough to not do that.)

Do not mark things as an urgent message when they really aren't, because one day you might have an urgent message, but it won't be treated as one because of the way you abused the policy the other times. (Think about "The boy who cried wolf". )

Do not post your e-mail address in online public areas inless you want to be flooded with spam and other virus containing messages.

The reason I am posting this, is because I feel it's time for a change on my part. I need to start helping people more, and stop thinking about my own, selfish needs. I also believe (If any of you lazy people bother to read this) it could really help you on how to be polite to online people.

Remember the following Gloden Rule: A picture is worth a thousand words, and Words hurt more than actions.

You have to like some sort of Anime/Manga Series! It doesn't matter which one, as this club supports them all.

You have to send the club a note with the subject "Join". Then in the note you must explain which Series is your most favorite! After that, watch the club and we'll watch you.

Don't forget to put the club's icon in your journal like :icon anime-lovers-unite: but without the spaces, to get OR in your signature by putting :dev anime-lovers-unite: but without the spaces to get ~Anime-Lovers-Unite

You cannot bash others in the club just because they like a certain series you don't. If ya don't like it, ignore it, and carry on with the series you DO like. Copish?

Keep all Artwork, Role Playing, Conversations, ect. under the PG-13 rating! It can have cussing, and a little romance, but NO HENTAI/SEXUAL SHIT! This is a club, not a pornographic Store/Factory... got it?!
